Our Legend Chuck Brown passed away today. If your from the Washington, DC and surrounding area there’s a HUGE appreciation and so much love for The GODFather of Go-Go music. When people outside of DC think G0-Go they think Chuck Brown. I remember growing up wanting to tag along with my uncle and older cousins to the go-go’s…(had to get a little older to do that) I had my share of Go-Go’s growing up. My greatest memory of Chuck is when I begged my moms to get me the GO-GO Live Concert VHS tape (1987) at the Capital Center in Landover because I knew Chuck performed Run Joe! I wanted that tape just for Chucks performance!

He will be sorely missed. There’s no replacement.
